Focus Resume Card is local-first. The extension does not send your resume card, page title, URL, selected text, screenshot, timer, or preferences to us.
What the extension stores
The active resume card and preferences are stored in the browser extension’s local storage on your device. A card can contain a URL, an optional page title, optional selected text, an optional compressed screenshot, elapsed focus time, and the next action you wrote. You can redact the title and selection before saving. Clearing the extension’s data deletes this information.
Purchases and licenses
If you buy Plus, checkout is provided by Sociobot/Dodo, the merchant of record. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. The site and extension store your license token and a daily verification result locally. Verification sends only that token to api.sociobot.in.
Analytics and network use
There are no analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, third-party fonts, or runtime CDNs. The free extension makes no network request on its own. License verification contacts the Sociobot billing API only when a license exists. The hosting provider may retain standard, short-lived request logs for security and reliability.
Your choices
You can use every recovery feature without an account. You may omit screenshots, titles, or selected text. The toolbar reminder is opt-in and off by default. Remove the extension or clear its local data to delete everything it stores.
